1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EduBoard (available at live.eduboard.in and www.eduboard.in), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

These terms apply to all users, including educators, students, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

EduBoard is a browser-based teaching smartboard platform that enables educators to:

• Draw and annotate using freehand tools
• Annotate PDF documents and PowerPoint slides
• Conduct interactive quizzes in Hindi and English
• Use AI assistance during teaching sessions

Access to the smartboard requires an active paid subscription. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

3. Subscription Plans & Payments

EduBoard offers the following membership plans:

• 7-Day Trial — ₹49 for 7 days: Full smartboard access, all tools, AI study chatbot
• Monthly — ₹199 for 30 days: Full smartboard access, pen/shapes/multi-page boards, PDF/PPTX import, AI chatbot
• Quarterly — ₹499 for 90 days: Everything in Monthly, ~17% saving vs monthly, priority email support
• Yearly — ₹1,499 for 365 days: Everything in Quarterly, ~37% saving vs monthly, early access to new tools

Payment process: All payments are made via UPI (Unified Payments Interface) directly to EduBoard's UPI ID. After payment, you must submit your UPI Transaction Reference Number (UTR) through the subscription form. Your membership will be activated only after an EduBoard administrator verifies your payment. You will receive a confirmation email upon activation.

Plan upgrades / renewals: You may subscribe to a different plan at any time. Renewal of the same plan is permitted within 7 days of expiry. A new subscription on the same plan while more than 7 days remain on your current membership will not be accepted.

Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and are subject to change with prior notice.

4. Membership Access & Expiry

Once your payment is approved by an administrator, your membership becomes active for the duration of your chosen plan. Access is tied to the email address you registered with.

• The smartboard access gate verifies your email against our membership database on each visit
• Your email is cached in your browser for 7 days so you do not need to re-enter it on every visit
• Memberships expire automatically at the end of the plan period
• You will receive an email notification when your membership is approved, and you are encouraged to track your expiry date

EduBoard administrators reserve the right to revoke membership access if a member violates these Terms & Conditions or applicable law, without refund.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital access services, all subscription payments are non-refundable once your membership has been activated by an administrator.

Refunds or credits may be considered at EduBoard's sole discretion in the following situations:

• Your payment was verified and membership activated, but you are unable to access the smartboard due to a technical fault on our end
• You were charged but your membership was not activated within 48 hours of UTR submission and you have not received a rejection notice

To request a refund consideration, email myeduboard@gmail.com with your registered email, order ID, and UTR reference within 7 days of the issue arising. We will respond within 5 business days.

Refunds are not provided for:

• Change of mind after activation
• Partial use of a subscription period
• Memberships revoked due to Terms violations
• Payments submitted with incorrect UTR details that result in rejection

6. Permitted Use

EduBoard is intended for educational and professional use by teachers and educators. You may use the platform to:

• Conduct live teaching sessions in classrooms or online
• Annotate educational materials you own or have the right to use
• Create and run quizzes for your students
• Use AI tools to assist with teaching content

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you use through EduBoard — including PDFs, slides, or quiz material — does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use EduBoard to:

• Upload, share, or transmit unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
• Infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law

8. Intellectual Property

All content, code, branding, and materials comprising EduBoard — including the logo, interface design, and software — are the intellectual property of EduBoard and are protected under applicable Indian and international copyright laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on EduBoard's proprietary content without our express written permission.

Content you create using EduBoard (such as your drawings or quiz questions) remains your own. You grant EduBoard no rights over your content beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

EduBoard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Results obtained from use of the service will be accurate or reliable
• Any defects in the service will be corrected

Your use of EduBoard is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EduBoard and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.

This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of teaching sessions, or any other losses arising from reliance on the service.

11. Third-Party Links & Services

EduBoard may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as Google services). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of such third-party services.

Accessing third-party links is done at your own risk and subject to those third parties' own terms and conditions.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to EduBoard at any time, without notice or liability, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page, with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of EduBoard after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
